COLOURED JALEBI
DIRECTIONS
- Besan flour - 4 cup
- Rice flour - 3 tsp
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Warm water - 2 cup
- Saffron thread - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 5 cup
- Water - 4 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Rose water - 3 tsp
- Oil - 2 cup
DIRECTIONS
- In a bowl, mix 3/4 cup of water with rice flour,besan and baking powder.
- Add remaining water with saffron thread and mix well.
- Keep the mixture for 2 hrs to ferment.
- Make sugar syrup
- Make one string syrup by mixing sugar in to water
- Add cardamom and saffron to it.
- In a pan heat oil,pour the batter in a coil shape, fry it.
- Fry it until becomes light brown colour.
- Take it after brown colour and put it in sugar syrup .
- Keep at least 5 min to soak the sugar.
- (Use any colour as preference.)
