DIWALI SPECIAL MALPUA

INGREDIENTS


Sugar                       - 1 cup
Water                       - 1 cup
Saffron strand         - 1 tsp
Purpose flour           - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Baking powder        - 1/2 tsp
Condensed milk      - 1 cup
Ghee                         - 5 tsp
Almonds and raisins


DIRECTIONS


1.  Mix sugar and water in a bowl and boil
2.  Add cardamom and saffron strand to it and stir well.
3.  In a separate bowl, mix condensed milk and baking
     powder and purpose flour to get a batter.
4.  In a pan, heat ghee, pour the batter in round shape 
     and fry.
5.  Remove it from heat and put directly to sugar syrup.
6.  Serve it by garnishing almonds and raisins
