LEMON RICE

INGREDIENTS


Biriyani rice         - 2 cup
Lemon juice         - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Oil                        - 3 tsp
Fenugreek            - 1 tsp
Bengal gram        - 3 tsp
Urad dal               - 3 tsp
Mustard                - 1 tsp
Asafoetida            - 2 pinch
Cashew nut           - 10
Peanut                   - 1/4 cup
Red chilli              - 4
Curry leaves         - few
Salt to taste

DIRECTIONS


1.  Cook biriyani rice.
2.  Fry Urad dal and fenugreek then grind well. mix both.
3.  Blend the mixture with rice.
4.  Add lemon juice, turmeric powder and salt.
5.  In a pan, when heat pour oil, add mustard, red chilli, bengal gram, asafoetida and curry leaves.
6.  Add these fried items in to the rice.
7.  Fry cashew and peanut with oil and add to rice.
8.  Garnish with curry leaves and serve it hot.
