COLOURED JALEBI

DIRECTIONS


  • Besan flour             - 4 cup
  • Rice flour               - 3 tsp
  • Baking powder      - 1/2 tsp
  • Warm water           - 2 cup
  • Saffron thread        - 1 tsp
  • Sugar                      - 5 cup
  • Water                      - 4 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Rose water               - 3 tsp
  • Oil                            - 2 cup

DIRECTIONS

  • In a bowl, mix 3/4 cup of water with rice flour,besan and baking powder.
  • Add remaining water with saffron thread and mix well.
  • Keep the mixture for 2 hrs to ferment.
  • Make sugar syrup
  • Make one string syrup by mixing sugar in to water 
  • Add cardamom and saffron to it.
  • In a pan heat oil,pour the batter in a coil shape, fry it.
  • Fry it until becomes light brown colour.
  • Take it after brown colour and put it in sugar syrup .
  • Keep at least 5 min to soak the sugar.
  • (Use any colour as preference.)
