BESAN KHANDVI

INGREDIENTS


Besan             - 1 cup
Curd               - 3 tsp
Turmeric        - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Hing               - a pinch
Water             - 3 cups
Oil and salt

For the tempering::

Oil                   - 2 tsp
Mustard          - 1 tsp
Sesame seeds - 2 tsp
Green chilli     - 2 tsp
Water              - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves.

DIRECTIONS


1.  In a wok mix together besan, curd, salt, turmeric, hing red chilli powder.
     Add 3 cups water to make a batter.
2.  Now turn to heat and stir it, until became thick consistency.
3.  Grease the back side of the plates with oil and spread the batter.
4.  Allow to cool for 10 mins, cut strips with a knife and roll.

For the tempering::

1.  In a pan, add oil, mustard, sesame, chillies and water, pour the khandvi.
2.  Garnish with coriander leaves.
