MATAR PANEER

INGREDIENTS

Fried paneer - 2 cup
Green peas   - 2 cup
Green chilli  - 4

For the gravy :

Chopped onion     - 2 cup
Garlic paste          - 1 tsp
Ginger paste         - 1 tsp
Puree                     - 1/4 cup
Tomato                 - 1/2 cup
Oil                         - 1/4 cup
Cumin seeds         - 2 tsp
Bay leaves             - 2
Turmeric               - 1/2 tsp
Red pepper            - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala       - 1/2 tsp
Salt                         - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves   - few

DIRECTIONS


1.  Heat oil and add cumin seeds and bay leaves.
2.  Add onion paste, ginger, garlic and saute till brown.
3.  Add tomatoes, turmeric, salt, garam masala, red pepper
    and the coriander powder, puree and stir well.
4.  Add peas, paneer and green chillies.
5.  Add 2 cups water, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 mins.
6.  Serve with coriander leaves.
