GOBI MASALA

INGREDIENTS


Cauliflower      - 1 cup
Green peas     - 14 cup
Onion              - 1 cup
Tomatoes        - 1 cup
Ginger paste   - 1 tsp
Chilli paste      - 1 tsp
Turmeric pwd  - 1/4 tsp
Chili powder    - 1 tsp
Cumin pwd      - 1/4 tsp
Masala pwd     - 1 pinch
Oil                    - 3 tsp
Poppy seeds    - 1 tsp
Cashew nuts    - 1/4 tsp
Coriander pwd - 1 tsp
Salt to taste

DIRECTIONS


1.  Heat oil in a pan, add the drained cauliflower and saute cook well.
2.  Grind the roasted poppy seeds and cashew to a paste adding water, set aside.
3.  Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions and saute, add ginger, chili paste and saute.
4.  Add turmeric powder red chili powder, cumin pwd, coriander powder and salt.
5.  Add chopped tomatoes. masala and saute.
6.  Add the sauteed cauliflower and green peas and mix well, cook combined.
